OVERVIEW

As a Social Media Maven at Mad Hat Studios, you will own all aspects of our client’s social presence, communication across social media platforms, creative content ideation and assist with production. You should have previous experience in social media and an intense passion for all things social media (duh!). A good grasp about all things trendy is desirable.
You will work with the Studios Lead and creative team to plan and execute clients’ digital strategies, including content creation and community management for a variety of different projects.
The candidate should be a self-starter and take a creative approach to social media. This position will play an integral role in shaping our value propositions and reputation as we quickly scale internationally. Mad Hat Studios currently works with clients across the Asia Pacific region and is rapidly growing!
ROLE OF A SOCIAL MEDIA MAVEN
PITCHING
Provide research support and compile relevant information for new client pitches and proposals
SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
Plan, strategize, and produce monthly content calendars for client social channels
Work with creative team to produce required assets
Schedule and monitor all posts and channel activity
Respond to comments, DMs, and interact with other accounts in line with growth strategy
Explore new audiences and platforms for both social media presence and influencer programming on channels such as TikTok, Clubhouse, etc.
Continually test channel-specific strategies and use findings to improve channel performance
Review analytics and produce reports with insights for account optimization and client review.
Stay on top of social and media trends and incorporate key trending topics and moments in client content
INFLUENCER MARKETING
Manage digital media influencer marketing campaigns from signed SOW to post-campaign reporting.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Develop and manage client relationship, leading calls and communicating needs and updates to clients
CREATIVE
Copywriting for social posts (Ideally in English and BM)
Basic Design in Canva and Google Slides is a plus
OPERATIONS
Create necessary documentation of workflows and processes for management of social media accounts
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience managing brand social media accounts
Agency experience preferred
Working knowledge of social media best practices for creative, copywriting, and campaigns
Experience with social management tools and software
Experience working cross functionally with PR and design teams to execute
Mile a minute ideas
A good visual eye
BM copywriting skills a plus
Adobe Suite & Canva design skills a plus
