ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Hatter Director at Mad Hat, you must be able to effectively lead PR strategy development, creative brainstorming and business development, and be an ideal candidate that possess a strong nurturing acu

ROLE OF A HATTER DIRECTOR

The duties and responsibilities of a Hatter Director includes (but are not limited to) the following:

  • New business development

  • Client servicing

  • Managing work teams (executives right up to managerial level)

  • Leading and developing PR strategies

  • Provide sound strategic counsel

  • Spotting opportunities, attending events, getting out and meeting people

  • Adapting, supporting and contributing to the organization’s vision and goals

  • Prioritizing company culture (creating a positive working environment), team development and growth

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior agency experience and enjoy working in a busy, buzzing agency environment

  • Several years’ experience in project, team and client management

  • A track record in new business development, client servicing, managing teams, leading and developing PR strategies

  • Ability to think creatively and come up with creative tactics and ways of measuring impact

  • Come with great time management

  • Excellent at managing client relationships

  • Ability to problem solve and provide sound strategic counsel

  • A confidence and constructive critique

  • Outstanding communication skills; Can present confidently and concisely to a range of different audiences

  • An eagle-eye for detail combined with being super organised and adept at managing projects from start to finish

  • Have new business experience - drafting proposals and attending pitches

  • Willingness to get sucked in, and support other areas of the business where required

  • A fast learner; with the ability to think laterally and apply skills and clarity of thought to projects outside of comfort zone

  • A high quality level of delivery across all elements of their professional work - written communications, client management, presentation

  • A genuine team player, and skilled at nurturing relationships with clients and colleagues

  • A desire and interest in working in internal employee engagement and wanting to do purpose-led work i.e to make a positive difference
